For years, Henrique Balsemão has travelled the world as a producer of his own TV show. However, the more he travelled, the more he was certain that the most beautiful region that he had ever seen, and the place where he wanted to live, was the southwest coast of Portugal, where he spent some of the best times in his life, surfing. And his boy’s dream

eventually came true. Destiny finally brought him to Amado, a beach with a very special mystic which is a sort of surf Meca for people all over the world. How to get there

Coming from Lisboa, take the A2 motorway until Grândola. Once there, take the IP8 to Sines and follow to Odemira and Aljezur. Taking the N-120 towards south, do not miss the exit to Sagres, on your right. Turn and continue until Carrapateira. Cross the village and drive on until you find the sign indicating Vilarinha.

If you are coming from Faro, follow the Via do Infante until Lagos and then take the N-125 towards Vila do Bispo, where you must turn to Carrapateira. After passing the wind park, pay attention because you will find the sign to Vilarinha, on your right.

Once there, just follow the signs.
